04/05/10: I know I haven't written a race report for about 6 months but I haven't been racing at all. A lot has been going on over the winter but, until now, I haven't had anything in stone to tell you about.

You might remember last September I had a pretty hard wreck and almost destroyed the Lucky 7 Sportsman car. That put me out of racing for the rest of the season because it took all the funds I had to fix the car.

All last year we were taking apart the late model and moving the good parts over to a new chassis to race in what was then called the ASA Southeastern Asphalt Tour. We were about half way ready when that series folded. Then, a new series started up that we thought we would race in but they outlawed my motor so that killed that. Right now, at least in Florida, the only thing going on is a few races here and there that don't pay anything so, with out a sponsor, I just had to realize that racing the late model wasn't going to happen this year...
